Unit 2 Greenbank Road
Roussel and Moore have recently been involved in a large refurbishment project, they were contacted by the new owners of a large house in Truro as their windows needed a facelift.
It involved 28 casement sashes, that on the whole were in good condition, but over time some had been painted shut and others through weathering and a build up of paint meant that they did not shut properly and there were metal strips that had been screwed to the windows by previous owners to stop draughts.
We removed all opening sashes and their ironmongery, the sashes were altered to fit correctly and reinstalled.
The metal strips were revoved and replaced with timber then repainted.
Ironmongery was treated chemically to remove paint and restore to its original state then also reinstalled.
Once Roussel and Moore had finished all windows were back to working order, and the customer was very pleased how thier windows now look. The pictures show the before, during and after stages.
